Fostering a love of exercise the outdoors and healthy self esteem is something every parents wants for their kids. What is difficult is finding ways to introduce it to them that are fun and age appropriate. When your kids still are not old enough for many programs through school, this a big responsibility left on the parents.
Introducing the Healthy Kids Running Series, a fun interactive way to get your kids excited about running and healthy living! Both of my two children registered for the Healthy Kids Series this year and are really loving the experience.
Starting with a pre-school age division (for my son) all the way through 8th grade the kids are placed in their groups by grade and the length of the races are also based off of those parameters. All the children are giving an official racing jersey and number, and after a series of warm us and stretches the races are set to begin. And don’t worry about your child feeling left out because all participants receive a medal at the end of the series.
