Transformers Construct-Bots Fun!

Transformers, more than meets the eye!  Transformers, robots in disguise!

Oh yes, my son loves Transformers toys and has been playing with them ever since he was old enough to ask for them by name.  In the past year he has also really gotten into building toys and products and loves to build and construct.  This holiday season we discovered a marriage of both Transformers figures and my sons love of building in the hot new toy, Transformers Construct-Bots.

Transformers Construct-Bots

Let me say, right off the bat I loved this toy because the set comes in it’s own case.  Moms of boys know how important this is, as the little pieces can so easily get lost or stepped on (ouch!) and I have been on a warpath with organizing this year.  If my kids toys don’t stay organized it is upsetting to them when they can’t find parts and aggravating for me to once again have to open up the canister on my vacuum cleaner to fish them out.  Yuck.

My son is five years old and was able to build his set on his own the first time with just a little bit of assistance.  The pieces click together with a slight amount of pressure but do not fall apart or come off too easily.  My son is a typical boy in that he likes to play a little rough so their resiliency and durability are important to us in toys.

Transformers Construct-Bots are so much fun to play with and I love how you can create and customize your Construct-Bots and also mix-and-match the pieces with other figures.  My son can’t wait to get his next set!  Here is a photo of the Wheeljack Transformer Construct-Bot that my son proudly built, played with, took apart, and re-built all in one afternoon of play!

I never had the chance to play with transformers but a kid left one at the library and I went to town! These are so fun! I love them and am glad your son enjoyed them too.
