Cooking Made Easy with Success Rice {Giveaway!}

I love to cook and could spend hours in the kitchen… if only someone would come over and watch my kids!  Ha!  All jokes aside, I do enjoy cooking and mostly because I love seeing my kids enjoy dinnertime and finish their meals.  Too often, I’m torn between cooking what is healthy and what is easy.  Recently I came across a new product that I enjoy making as part of our dinnertime routine for my family and that also isn’t time consuming to make.

Mexican Rice

I’m not sure how many of you cook traditional rice, but it easily takes over a half an hour.  Boiling water, measuring, plus cook time can add up.  I know it doesn’t seem like too much time, but when you are juggling kids, work, home, and the rest of your dinner menu plan, every little bit of time makes a difference.

Success Rice now offers boil-in-bag rice that delivers fully cooked rice in 10 minutes.  No measuring necessary and no mess.  I love that their whole grain brown rice has complex carbohydrates with 43 grams of whole grains per serving.  Taste wise, my personal favorite is the jasmine rice which has a buttery, nutty fragrance.  Success is the only brand currently offering a boil-in-bag jasmine rice!

All varieties of Success Boil-in-Bag Rice include:

  • Whole Grain Brown Rice
  • White Rice
  • Jasmine White Rice
  • Basmati White Rice

    All the kids love tacos and it’s a family favorite. I love to make a taco salad, with spinach, rice, black beans, meat, cheese and HOT SAUCE brought back from St. Maarten.
