Hey Moms! Most of you who know me and my kids know we have been at Romp n’ Roll of Willow Grove for quite some time now. Writing this review for me was actually pretty simple, as these are the things I tell friends and neighbors all the time when they ask me about what activities I have my children enrolled in.
Romp n’ Roll is an indoor play gym located in Montgomery County that offers classes ranging from baby to 6 years of age. My children are both toddlers so I am lucky that I can take them to Open Gym together or enroll them in concurrent classes at the same time. They offer “Mommy and Me” style classes for younger kids as well as drop-off classes for the slightly older children. In addition, Romp n’ Roll (RnR) offers kids camps over the summer and during breaks for moms who want to keep their kids in a routine while school is out! Throughout the year, they also host special events such as Kids Night Out, Rompy’s Birthday Bash, and an annual fundraiser for Kisses for Kyle, among other events. In my opinion, RnR offers a variety of options and tries to stay active in the local community.
The main attraction at Romp n’ Roll is the gym area. Brightly colored and fun, it is filled with bouncy equipment, climbing equipment, and a rock wall. They change the set up often, and there are always different configurations of what the kids can climb and bounce on. There are also balls EVERYWHERE which my son absolutely loves and a couple slides and even a baby pool filled with toys. The area is enclosed so your children cannot leave the gym without mom or dad. (This is very assuring especially when there is only one of you and two or more of them!).
The second room at RnR is the room used for hosting Art classes, Science Classes, or for eating cake during Birthday Parties. This provides a great option if you wanted to enroll a sibling in a Princess Class or Construction Junction while your other child is in a Gym class.
One thing I must mention about Romp n’ Roll that I love is their flexibility. They understand that your life as a parent is ever-changing, as is your schedule. If you miss a class due to illness or schedule conflict, they will let you make the class up during the session and are happy to help you find another time to come in. If you forget your diaper bag in the car, or even worse go in to change baby only to find out you have NO diapers in your diaper bag (EEK!) they have a stash on hand in the restroom so you can change your little one without embarrassment. The instructors and staff are really nice, and that goes a long way in my book.
If you would like any further information about RnR, feel free to ask, I’d be more than happy to share. You can contact Romp n’ Roll at the contact information below. Please mention you heard about them from Mommy Entourage!
